If you look at figure 193 Item 3 is the white light lens holding screws. There is one on each side of the lens. They hold back end up. The AMM probably will not show you anything! I'll see if I have PDF somewhere

Well it is Tuesday morning and I am going to try to fly the Straight Tail to a different shop, this one at Brookhavem HWV and get the oil changed and the strut rebuilt. Nice day so far, all depends on getting a ride back to East Hampton. If any new

Just got my plane out of annual and upgraded panel with dual G5's. Also got the GAD13, GAD29b and GMU11 and the OAT probe. Love the new setup. Vacuum system gone and suction gauge gone! And, as an added bonus, my fat girl lost 7lbs off the W&

Yeah, I finally got that one unstuck...i am guessing 50 years of dirt and grime kept it together. Going to put in some LEDs in that now. The one I am actually referring to is the dome light on the headliner. The one with the rheostat for the panel

Quote:it's 3000 square foot of practical space, with a bathroom, an airplane, my brother's boat, and my trailer, plus a 14' bar with lounge area. Sweet hangar, California Flyer! I like all of the amenities. The socializing is a bonus.

I have an early model 182E. I bought an Aeroflash LED low profile. The previous owner had a whealen. It had what looked like a metal saucer insert that the low profile led bolted onto. Looks good. Works great

That sounds like a major alteration to me and most likely needs to also be reported to NTSB due to a failure of flight controls!

Good morning all! Funny thing happened while attempting to set up the Christmas lighting... I have an inflatable "Santa In A Helicopter With Presents" that I have had for years. It was chilly outside because the front yard is in shade this

I was part owner of a C152 in the 90s, then upgraded to the current '74 Skyhawk in '95. It was going to be a temporary step to something else, but I slowly realized it met all my needs.
