Aircraft Spruce sells a unit that you can use to Charge Your Battery or run your radios etc., while plugged in. I just bought one for the 182. The 14 volt ones are less expensive than the 28 volt one. Bob

Over the years I have always had side line jobs in addition to my main one. Real Estate Agent, Flight Instructor, Photographer etc. Now that I am retired I am still working in some of those side line professions. Having the extra money is nice. Bob

Not really random fields. This is side county flying and yes it is all off airport flying. All of the places we land are on private property not public like the back county pilots on the west end of the states.

I have 1 of the 27 P172D N159JM. It still has the go-300. Any updates on N8571X with the Stoots upgrade. I have a good friend that has a straight tail c175 getting the conversion io-370 and trailblazer done right now at a shop in Oshkosh.

Hey, I'm the guy that that is flying the P172D off airport and posting videos referenced above. The airplane is a 1963 and has the GO-300 with the original 84" McCauley c/s prop. I am new to the forum.
