I need to tow my C172. I need a towbar so I can use my truck to move it.

I bought this one. I tow Miss Nannie to fuel and wash rack with this tow bar and a golf cart. It's a bit expensive, but works great. One word of caution...if you have a torpedo style nose wheel pant you will need the extender kit and then may still have to slightly modify to completely avoid scratching said pant.

The one George is suggesting works great! If you're looking for one that would fit a ball/hitch, I'm not sure you'll have any luck. I think most people retrofit them. I could be wrong about that though. You CAN use the one suggested here on a ball hitch though...I've done it. For no faster than you should REALLY be towing, you should have no worries.

Cool! Thanks. Ordered. I'm gonna use it for exactly the same purposes as Bigdoggh. Hopefully it'll put off an engine overhaul for at least another 100 hours or so.

Nice plane, nice tow tug. That's where I'm headed (for a tug). I have an electric car that works great for travel to/from the airport. Adding a hitch and it's better yet.
