If am thinking of a west coast v. East coast bug. Let's see what coast can get more miles per month.

It would be cool if we do the east qwest thing to bring the two together in Fredericksburg and see which region has bragging rights.

I am flying to San Luis Obispo tomorrow. If anyone wants to meet there I will buy a bug and book and take it with me.

East Coast, this is the shot across your bow.

I can pick up a new bug here in Daytona this afternoon, and hand her off to you tomorrow. I'll be over at Central Florida Avionics tomorrow getting my Pitot-Static inspection.

THIS JUST IN

I now have a new "bug" and logbook sitting on the kitchen table waiting to be donated to a worthy cause. If we're all in agreement to give this new mini-member a shot, I can send her on her way as soon as tomorrow.

Photo it and put it on the site so if it goes missing we can make a Wanted Reward poster as Gene Audrey would have for bad guys.

Well I'm on the East coast of FL, but I suppose I can start it off the West coast... of FL grin

Joeman, I should be in KLEE somewhere around 10-12. If your airport is close by, I might be able to pop in quickly before I head back to KEVB. Other wise I should be back in town April 1 & 2.

flyhayes, I'm 30 miles west of Leesburg. It's been IFR here most mornings until at least 10. If I can get out of here a little earlier than that, I'll fly to Leesburg. Later wouldn't work as I have to actually do some real work for a change.

Where is the East- West dividing line? I live East of the Mississippi but keep the plane West of the river.

At least one should show for Airventure & both @ Fredericksburg.

Looks like IFR weather will keep me grounded until after noon unfortunately. Who else do we have in the area for a handoff?

I'm at PCM but I don't have a 172 here. Do have couple other planes here though. With the rule of having to move with 172 maybe I wouldn't work.

If the Admin will not throw me out of here if I do this I am ording a West Coast Bug this week. Taking the kids on Vacation next week but after that I will launch the West Coast bug that I would like to call "Westie".
