I'm strange, but not stranger to the Forum. Let me know when you head North, Joeman. I'll give the Bug a few flights in PA and try to move on.

If it makes it New England/ Massachuetts area sometime, I will be happy to fly it around. Bug doesn't seem to get around these parts much?

That said, WX only good if your a duck today. Hopefully will pass for some weekend flying.

I took the bug up for a six leg round robin yesterday. Still messing around to post pics though.

Is anyone planning to go to the fly in at Marianna, Florida on the 20th / 21st of this month? I might go and it could be a chance to hand off the bug. Looks like a decent show with Friday night WINGS, free food and movie. Free camping Friday night with the main fly in Saturday. Rides available in a Huey or Cobra helicopter. Here's a link to the poster for the show.

PS below the poster are some arrival procedures as they will have a temporary tower for the event

I haven't heard of it reaching New England. If it gets here we can also fly it around.

I take it with me evey time I fly. Was hoping someone may have been going to Marianna but no such luck. I know some of the members go to Williston for fuel and food. Anyone want to meet there to pick up the bug? How about anywhere near northern Florida?

Is anyone going to the fly in at Adel GA (15J) this Saturday? They're having free BBQ and flight training. Maybe we could meet and hand off the bug? Could also meet somewhere South and/or East of there. If no one wants to do a hand off, how does everyone feel about mailing it somewhere? We really need to get this thing moving.

I wouldn't mind flying the bug around for awhile but my 172 is in the beauty salon for at least two more weeks. It may be awhile before we can meet up for the exchange.

Williston, Ocala, Flagler, Sebring or Deland are all my regular $100 hamburger stops.

I also have plans for a cross country to Virginia later this summer so that might facilitate a handoff to a different region...

I also regularly hit Williston and Deland. Could make any of others too. Looks like I may still have the bug in two weeks so lets try then.........

Sounds great to me N5479R. Let's try to do a lunch too as I'd like to hear more about the DOT.

Shifty, sorry the delay. I've had some issues with the plane and it is now back at the paint shop. I should have it back early next week at the latest and will then get with you for a meeting at Williston for the handoff. I'm looking forward to some bug flights!
