The Parmetheus LED landing light in the nose bowl of my 1974 172M recently decided to start to rotate in it's mount. The old style tungsten bulb had a glass tab that locked into a notch on the back mounting plate preventing such rotation, but the Parmetheus has a metal tab that's too low to engage the notch in the backplate. The screws are tight, and the gasket seems ok, but with the vibration of flight the light rotates and pulls on the power wires. I wonder if anyone has seen this problem, and how it was fixed.

I had that issue with my AeroLED landing light. I took a little foam tape and applied it around the rim in a couple of spots. Stopped the problem.

mine does the same.. I was thinking about a little RTV to hold it in place. but the foam tape might be less messy

When I installed my LED landing lights the original bulbs had those orange rubber gaskets installed with the bulbs.

The new LED bulbs came with a black rubber grommet which was too thick to use on my cessna. So I reused the orange rubber gaskets with the new LED bulbs and it worked out well.

I think you need rubber about the thickness of a rubber inner tube. If you had a old inner tube you could cut yourself one out. Just an idea.
